Twisted Axles to Host FTC Scoring Strategy Workshop

Is your team already able to get a functioning robot on the field, but you just aren’t scoring that many points? You might want to join Twisted Axles for this engaging workshop on August 25. Read on to learn more and apply for a spot!

Topics We’ll Cover:

• Launch day brainstorming process. (AKA, Rover Ruckus will be here in a minute. Are you ready?)

• Drivetrains. The foundation for everything. (AKA, Until you can get on the balancing stone, forget everything else.)

• Focusing on the right things and ignoring distractions. (AKA, Why most teams should have ignored glyphs for most of last year.)

• Expand your thinking. (AKA, Somebody has to win at the World Championship. Why shouldn’t it be you?)

• But be realistic. (AKA, Rome wasn’t built in a day, so focus on your strengths while expanding your capabilities.)

• How to improve your Relic Recover robot. (AKA, What might have been…) (AKA, Learning from the past, so we can improve in the future.)

• Cost: $7 per person (Pizza Lunch Provided). Bring a check written out to Praise Academy.

• Who: Targeting established (not rookie) teams who need to get “over the hump” when it comes to scoring in order to be competitive.

• What to Bring: Come prepared to run your Relic Recover robot. We’ll be assessing one another’s designs, so we can all get better.
