Rotary Club Makes Us Fast!

The Rotary Club of Dallas-Paulding County was instrumental in funding the purchase of a new blazing fast laptop! This is the first time our team has owned a computer capable of computer-aided design (CAD) work. In the past, only one or two kids on the team have had a laptop that could run the software we use to design our robot.

For those of you who geek out about laptops, here is what we got... Acer - Nitro 5 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti - 256GB Solid State Drive

This machine is going to be wicked fast at designing and assembling 3D parts and should last us for years! The hard part is going to be figuring out who gets to use it first. :-) It's going to be a great asset for us as we gear up for this season, which begins on September 8.
